Little Bunny Fifi – Je Joue Fifi

Je Joue Fifi

Je Joue Fifi

I wasn’t entirely sure about the new Je Joue Fifi.  I love everything I have by Je Joue, so I had to have one of these.  On the other hand, I have bad luck with rabbits fitting me properly and I wasn’t entirely sold on the bunny ear design.  The bunny ears were different from any other rabbit I had and when you have a lot of toys, different is something that gets hard to find.  The Je Joue name and uniqueness won over my uncertainty and I ordered a Fifi from this sex shop I trust.

WHAT IT IS

Fifi is a non-rotating rabbit that has three motors – one at each ear and one at the shaft.  The shaft is inserted vaginally while the two ears go around the clit.  The shaft has a light curve for G spot stimulation.  It’s not really meant to be inserted anally, but I suppose you could use the area the connects the ears and base as a stop if you wanted to use it that way.

I personally always find rabbits are best for solo use rather than with a partner.  Since there’s not usually a lot of thrusting going on with rabbits, my husband gets bored with them easily.  If your partner doesn’t mind minimal effort or visuals on their end, it could be used together.

Fifi is a waterproof vibrator.  It can go with you from the bathroom to bedroom and anywhere in between.

MATERIAL

Je Joue silicone has long been one of my favorite things in the world.  Fifi is made from the same silicone as other Je Joue toys, making me a happy girl.  It’s completely seamless silicone, so seam sensitive users will have no issues.  The entire toy is smooth with no texture.

Why is Je Joue silicone my favorite?  It’s soft, velvety, and has no drag.  It has a bit of a powdery feel to it which I like, but won’t be for everyone.  The silicone is a thin layer that’s wrapped around a firm core.  Even though the silicone itself is soft there is no give to it.  It’s not plushy, just soft to the touch.  You can’t bend the shaft at all or squeeze it inward.

I don’t find that Je Joue silicone attracts lint or other particles, but I know others have said differently.  Keeping Fifi stored in either its original packaging or some type of pouch or baggie will minimize any lint or dirt on it prior to use.

You should use only water based lubes with Fifi due to the silicone material.  When cleaning, it should not be placed in a dishwasher or boiled due to the motor.  Interested in learning about the safety of silicone or how to clean it?  Check out the Material Guide for more information.

SIZE

Fifi Size Diagram

Fifi Size Diagram

Fifi is on the smaller size of rabbits.  It’s 7.25″ in total length.  From the tip to the end of the shaft is 5″.  From the tip of the shaft to the tip of the ears is 3.5″.  The diameter at the widest point is 1.5″.  From the widest point the diameter tapers down to 1.25″ and then down to 1″.  The ears are 2″ long and .5″ in diameter.

If held against my hand, Fifi is just about the same size.  It comes from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my palm.

The diameter isn’t so large that it would be unsuitable most users.  It may be a bit much if you’ve never experienced penetration before, but it’s a size that could be worked up to without much trouble if you do encounter problems.

ANATOMY

A good rabbit is hard to find.  A big part of the problem with rabbits is that the clit attachments won’t always hit everyone’s clit.  There’s a wide range of lengths from vaginal opening to clit in women.  Some rabbits will better fit those who are spaced closely together and some will work better for those who are spaced further apart.

I fall to the smaller spaced end at about 1cm from vaginal opening to clit.  Many rabbits overshoot on me where the attachment ends up somewhere that’s closer to my stomach than my clit.  Fifi is actually good for smaller spaced girls because of the gap between the ears.  Rather than not being able to use the attachment at all, you just end up a bit further down in between the ears.  My clit comes down into them a bit, but I can also maneuver this to where I can use just one ear for more direct stimulation.

My best guess is that this will work for those who are spaced closely together or in the middle.  For those spaced further apart, the ears may not reach.

DESIGN

Fifi Design

Fifi Design

If there’s one thing you can say about Fifi, it’s that it’s a unique rabbit.  Rather than the traditional arm (in the shape of some animal), Fifi has two arms.  They look like little bunny ears and are really pretty cute.  They’re rounded at the tips.  If you use them on the side of the clit as intended, they’ll give indirect stimulation.  You can also twist Fifi to the side some and use just one ear placed on the clit for direct stimulation.  When used this way, the ears offer something in between pinpoint and broad stimulation.

The ears aren’t flexible but they can be spread out if you place your finger between them.  You can push them up a little.  When I do this it kinda feels like I may break them off, so I wouldn’t really recommend doing it.  The ears feel pretty delicate and like they are intended to stay in the position they are put in.

The shaft is curved upward slightly for G spot stimulation.  The end is a rounded tip.  I personally can’t hit my G spot with this curve, but I usually require a pretty intense curve to hit mine.  Just like some rabbits won’t fit, all G spot curves won’t work for everyone.  The curve and shape does feel nice, it just doesn’t work for my G spot.

OPERATING FIFI

Fifi Buttons

Fifi Buttons

Fifi works on the new three button controls used by Je Joue.  It’s the same layout as the Uma.  There’s a plus, minus, and squiggle (tilde) button.  To turn on, hold down the plus button for 3 seconds.  To turn up the vibrations, press the plus button.  To turn down the vibrations, press the minus button.  To turn off, hold down the minus button for 3 seconds.  To change the pattern, press the squiggle button.  There is no locking feature.

Je Joue buttons are known for being hard to use.  Fifi actually wasn’t that bad.  The buttons are a little hard to press, but not anywhere near Uma or MiMi when I first got them.  You won’t be pressing them accidentally for sure because you do have to press down on them to get a change.  I was annoyed least by Fifi’s buttons out of all of my Je Joue toys.

What I do wish was better about the operation was some type of signal when you hit the top speed.  When you reach the final power level, there’s no indication that you can’t go any further.  It blinks the same as when you reach any other speed.  If you try to increase again, it blinks like you changed it but it doesn’t change.  Then I’m left wondering if I hit another speed but there was just no difference in power level.  I find that I keep pressing the button to be sure I’m at the top speed before feeling satisfied that, yes, I did turn it all the way up.

CHARGING FIFI

Fifi is rechargeable by a magnetic charger.  The magnets connect to the buttons.  This magnet charger is what makes Fifi waterproof.  A two hour charge is needed to power up Fifi.  This should then last two hours.  When charging, the little Je Joue heart will flash.  Once Fifi is fully charged, the heart will glow steady.

VIBRATIONS AND PATTERNS

There are five power levels and six patterns on Fifi.  The motors are not controlled independently.  When you turn the power up, the power on everything turns up.

At the lowest setting, both the shaft and ears vibrate at about a 2/5 intensity.  The second setting vibrates both at a low level 3.  The third is a mid-level three.  At the fourth, the shaft starts to vibrate harder than the ears.  The shaft vibrates at a 4 while the ears only go to a high 3.  The final power setting the shaft vibrates at a high 4.  The ears cross the hump to get to a 4 in intensity, but just barely.  The shaft vibrations are weaker than Fifi’s sister Uma by a small amount.  The ears take a significant hit to power in relation to Uma and MiMi.  They remind me of the strength of the Zini Seed (not a good thing for me).

The vibrations are rumbly.  They operate at a deep pitch and penetrate the skin well.  I didn’t find that they caused any numbing or itching during use, but do cause some itching if I hold it against my stomach.

The shaft vibrations are located near the tip but translate pretty well through the whole shaft.  The ears vibrations are located near the tip.

The first pattern is a moderate pulse.  The second is wave that goes from the low to high speed and back.  The ears seem to pulse during the wave pattern at the shaft.  The third is a pulsing wave in both the shaft and ears.  The fourth is quick pulse.  The fifth is faster pulse.  The sixth is a pulsing wave at the shaft and a fast pulse at the ears.

I found Fifi to be a bit louder than Uma or MiMi.  It makes a little rattling noise.  This noise is muffled in use.  When not inserted, it’s somewhat noisy.  It’s slightly distracting, but since it’s mostly muffled once you insert it it’s not too terrible.

PACKAGING

Fifi Packaging

Fifi Packaging

Fifi comes in beautiful Je Joue packaging.  The outside box is colored to match the toy.  The front simply says “Je Joue” with their heart design on it.  Each side has information about the toy in multiple languages.  The back has a photo of Fifi with the words “More Rabbit” in large lettering.  The outer package isn’t very discreet due to the wording and photos.

The inner package is plain black with just “Je Joue” and the heart logo.  This box is very discreet and could be used for storage of Fifi if you have extra space for it.  Fifi sits on display in the black box.  To the side is a small life up compartment that holds the charger and instruction manual.

The manual explains how to operate Fifi as well as the typical warnings.  It’s easy to read and should get everyone off the ground using Fifi.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

My experience with Fifi reminded me of my experience with the Zini Seed – frustrating.  The vibrations in the ears were just under the strength I need to orgasm.  What that means is that they would get me really close but not be able to finish the job.  I would get annoyed and lose it, only to build it back up and repeat the same process.  After a few almost orgasms, I was done with Fifi and reaching for something else.  I kept trying on different occasions, all with the same result.

It should be noted that these almost orgasms were only achieved by using one ear of Fifi rather than two.  When I used the two ears and placed them around my clit, I wasn’t able to get anywhere near an orgasm.  Indirect stimulation just wasn’t working for me in a serious way.  It was a cool idea, but for someone who needs a lot of direct power on her clit, it just failed.  It was an interesting sensation, but not one that was going to get me anywhere.

While the shaft doesn’t hit my G spot, I will say it’s a nice shape.  It worked well for me for internal stimulation, G spot aside.  The size was right and the curve applied a good amount of upward pressure.

RECOMMENDATION

While Fifi wasn’t my thing, it’s not a bad quality item by any means.  If you don’t mind indirect stimulation and don’t need a lot of power, Fifi could work really well.  For those that are more like me, you’re probably better using a regular strong internal and external vibrator that you know works for you.

IN CONCLUSION

I’m going with my usual rating for something that’s high quality but just doesn’t work for me – 3/5.  It’s the highest rating I’m willing to give to something that does nothing for me personally.  There’s nothing wrong with the build or material, it’s just the design and strength don’t work for me.

Pros:  Soft silicone, Waterproof, Unique
Cons:  Could be stronger, Indirect stimulation won’t work for everyone

I’m glad to see a review of this!! I’m just not sure if I need it or not yet. I can’t decide if my anatomy would work for it. Doesn’t sound as awesome as I hoped it would, though.

I tried to get it up quick since it’s a new product a lot of people are curious about. It’s definitely not as awesome as I had hoped. So sad. I usually love Je Joue things.
